Tesa® 51865 is a transparent, double-sided industrial mounting tape designed for versatile bonding applications. As a differential version of tesa® 4965, it features an asymmetrical adhesive system: the liner side carries a higher coating weight for maximum flexibility and strong adhesion to a wide range of surfaces, while the open side has a lighter coating weight optimized for secure bonding to flat profiles under controlled lamination conditions. Engineered for durability, Tesa® 51865 resists humidity, UV exposure, and short-term temperatures up to 200°C. It delivers excellent tack, reliable shear strength, and consistent performance across various materials.
